Areas that have no or limited surface water or groundwater may choose to desalinate seawater to obtain drinking water. Sea water reverse osmosis is the most common method of desalination, especially in Middle East countries.
Electricity consumption for sea water reverse osmosis system is relatively high. However, our integrated enhanced energy recovery devices capable to recover almost50% of the pumping energy thus reduce system operating cost significantly.
Energy recovery device is a mechanical hydraulic booster tool which operate without electricity. Our ERD is the result of state of the art computerized fluid dynamics software and extensive in-house testing.
